Sacro-Occipital Technique
Definition
A gentle chiropractic technique, often shortened to S.O.T., developed by Dr. Major Bertrand DeJarnette in the 1920s. It looks at the relationship between the sacrum, at the base of the spine, and the occiput, at the back of the skull, and everything in between. It is the technique Dr. Mary Jane Doyle uses for her adjustments at Doyle Family Chiropractic in Highland, Indiana.
